Olimpic Sails set up an Optimist sail based on a new concept and named it BLACKBULL.
After lots of tests it was decided to use it at the international regatta in Pula, Croatia, and the result has been outstanding: Tito Rodda sailed to a clear win scoring two first and two second places over four regattas with most different conditions.
The BLACKBULL sail, studied for sailors over 100 lbs, proved extremely fast and easy to set in all sailing trims and wind/sea conditions.
The reduced entry angle, its differentiate and very frisbee profiles in the middle area and a very twisted leech makes it a sail that suits lighter sailors as well, whom could reach enthusiastic performances especially downwind as well as upwind with lighter winds.
