As Harken's contribution to the green movement for our environment, we are now using renewable, sustainable fabrics made with bamboo fibers and naturally odor-fighting carbon. These lightweight sailing shorts are made of durable 4-way stretch and wicking materials to allow freedom of movement without the restriction inherent inconventional fabrics. Incorporates back pockets with tough nylon reinforcement seat panel and removable foam pad insert. 
 
Main fabric: Bamboo, carbon, nylon, spandex with 4-way stretch.
Secondary reinforcement fabric: Stretch nylon.

Around the Waist
The fit around your waist should be snug. The fabric used in these shorts is very forgiving with a high amount of stretch.

Around the Hips
Fit can be anywhere from loose to fitted around the hips. Even when choosing a more fitted look, ease of movement and high mobility are retained due to the high stretch properties of the fabric.

General Fit
Depending on waist size and whether or not a belt will be used, Harken suggests leaning towards a smaller waist size. If a belt will be used and a looser fit is preferred, lean towards your natural waist size (or larger) when making a selection.
