The RLL012-01 Rescue Laser Light from Greatland Laser is a light-weight, high-tech alternative to conventional pyrotechnic flares that's so compact it can fit in your pocket or on a keychain. Under optimal nighttime conditions, the laser is visible up to 20 miles (32 km) away. It is effective up to 3 miles away in daytime and can locate reflective material up to one mile (1.6 km) away. It boasts a long-life laser diode with up to 10,000 hours meantime to failure and can run for 40 hours on an easily replaceable 3-volt lithium CR123 battery. Non-flammable and environmentally safe, its rugged, corrosion-resistent, machined aluminum housing is also waterproof down to 80 feet (24 m). Lithium battery included on domestic orders. Due to recent regulations governing international shipment of lithium batteries via air, battery is not included on orders outside of the USA.
